About Shannon Scenna, ARNP

Shannon joined SNHIMA as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2024, serving patients at the Derry Office. Before joining SNHIMA, she gained extensive experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, certified in Adult and Pediatric Trauma. Her career as an ER travel nurse took her to both large and small hospitals throughout New England.

Her diverse nursing background spans various settings, including critical care, cardiology, hospice, rehabilitation, and geriatrics. She began her healthcare journey 15 years ago as a nurse's assistant and advanced through roles as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse with an associate’s and bachelor’s degree, and now as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Shannon earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice from Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire, where she developed the skills to provide comprehensive care across the lifespan.

Currently, Shannon resides in Manchester, New Hampshire, with her husband, their cat, 18 chickens, and approximately 80,000 honeybees. When not caring for her patients, she dedicates time to her microfarm, River Run Homestead, where she embraces homesteading and strives to live a more sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle. Shannon is excited to be a part of the SNHIMA team and is committed to providing compassionate care to the community.
